Trinity Center is grateful for the support of Creek Kids. The Creek Kids spend most of their time together producing beautiful stationery. The stationery is created in two stages: the art parties and the assembly parties. Kids of all ages attend the monthly art parties with the intention to create beautiful art to help make life easier for others. Creek Kids from fourth grade and up attend the assembly parties to take the rectangles of original art and adhere them onto blank stationary. The proceeds from this stationery are used to fund projects such as Trinity Center.
Creek Kids provide $300/month for breakfast supplies as well as tents, sleeping bags and tarps for Trinity Center homeless participants.
Creek Kids sponsor the annual Angel Project, during which a family/individual/group gets a wish list from a homeless community member and purchases gifts for this person. 53 wish lists from Trinity Center participants were filled by Angels in 2012.
During the Trinity Center holiday celebration four graduated Creek Kids helped distribute gifts, including a bike buggy, warm clothes, art supplies, a skateboard and a guitar.
Many thanks to the families, individuals, scout troops and Creek Kids Care school groups who participated in the Angel Project. Your generosity is so appreciated!
